Located on more than 200 acres at the gateway to North America’s largest national park, Wrangell-St. Elias, this stunning lodge features outstanding views of the Wrangell-St. Elias and Chugach mountain ranges, as well as the Copper (known worldwide for its Copper River Salmon) and Klutina Rivers. The lodge itself is nestled on a bluff and boasts a wall of windows two stories high to do justice to the dramatic views of the towering peaks of Mt Drum. So much to do, so little time! The Copper River Princess Wilderness Lodge is located in one of the most ideal settings for nature lovers! During your leisure time there are a multitude of outdoor actives: such as camping, hiking, fishing, and river rafting. Local sightseeing excursions are offered at a discounted price to our employees. Day trips to Valdez, Anchorage and nearby recreation areas are often arranged by the Copper River Princess housing staff. Take advantage of the property's trails, basketball court, horseshoe pit, fitness tent, and join our softball league. Our housing staff facilitates many different programs from painting lessons to fly tie seminars. Fun and adventure are here waiting for you!

Room and Board

Dormitory style employee housing, located a short walk from the lodge, is available at a reasonable cost. Enjoy outdoor recreation areas, common area that include: employee use computers, wireless internet, games, large screen TV, and free laundry facilities. You will also be offered a discounted meal plan.

If needed, air transportation arrangements to Anchorage may be arranged through Princess Tours. Princess offers a repayment program that will allow you to repay the cost of your ticket with your earned wages.
